Welcome to West Coast First Aid, a leading supplier of First Aid Training in Scotland for the last 7 years is pleased to anounce we now have a base in Cumbria, this will give us the opportunity to provide our courses on a regular basis in the North of England
The business is operated by myself Jeremy Game with the assistance of my wife Gail and a team of associate instructors. Our background is in critical care nursing and outdoor activities both myself and Gail are critical care nurses in Glasgow with a wide experience of intensive care and accident & emergency nursing and in addition to this we have many years of experience in the outdoor industry and youth work to draw upon. Using this background we are able to provide high quality courses with a wealth of experience to reflect upon, enabling us to meet the requirements of our clients.
Courses can be run in any location on any day and are a very competitively priced. Courses include a mixture of practical skills and theory. Course costs are inclusive of all teaching aids and course materials. West Coast First Aid is an HSE contracted provider through Qualsafe awards for First Aid Training (reg no 0904120).

New for 2011/12 Through cource fedback we have found that the bespoke service currently available is the most cost effective way to provide high quality training please see the individual course description for these details. This will now include a courses in the Lake District / Cumbria, venue to be confirmed, and any location to suit your needs throughout the UK. In addition this year we are able to provide Child Carers first aid courses half day and full day courses, these courses are aimed for thoes working with young children and babies in both domestic and comercial enviroment.

Over the past 4 years we have been providing First Aid Instructor Training and to date we have trained 30 instructors to go out to the community to deliver training in their own right.
Also due to changes in HSE regulations we are one of the first providers to provide the new 1 day HSE Emergency First Aid At Work course and the new 3 day HSE First Aid At Work Course see HSE website for details www.hse.gov.uk/firstaid. Also along the same line we are able to provide the new HSE recommended annual first aid updates. Please contact the Training Centre for further information on all the above.
